​Welcome to my website! My name is Adi Donanhirsh. I am an art teacher, an artist and a mom of two teen girls. I've been drawing, painting and sculpting practically all my life. From a very young age I was inspired to be creative and think outside the box by my grandfather, who was a talented craftsman, artist and engineer.

With a BA in Psychology and MA in Expressive Art Therapies, I spent several years helping adults and youth with various mental health challenges. After becoming a mom my interest shifted to art education.

​

Since 2018 I've been teaching art in many settings, including preschools, elementary schools, senior homes, homeschool, community centers and at "The Art Room" Art Studio in Lafayette. Take a look at the of wonderful art that my students and I created through the years!

With my new endeavor YouCanDoArt I’m thrilled to deliver the joy of art right to your doorstep, complete with everything you need for a convenient ,fun and mess-free experience! I strive to make every class and event a success with a unique and engaging activity, that all the participants will enjoy.

YouCanDoArt events are for any age and any occasion! We build the event together, according to your preferred theme, the age and number of your guests, the type of activity you are interested in (painting, sculpting, mixed media exc...), and any extras you might wish to add (face-painting, souvenirs for your guests exc..).
